Arg, active Human Recombinant Kinase Protein
N-terminal 6His-tagged recombinant, murine Arg amino acids 27-end.
Biological information
Background
The mammalian Abelson (Abl) family of nonreceptor tyrosine kinases is comprised of c-Abl (ABL1) and Arg (Abl-related gene, ABL2), which are encoded by the Abl1 and Abl2 genes, respectively. Deregulation of the c-Abl and Arg tyrosine kinases can occur as a result of chromosomal translocation events that produce chimeric proteins associated with the development of human leukemias as well as gastric cancer invasion and progression.
