The Xtract-DG Kit is dedicated to find the most suitable combination of Eurofins CALIXAR Reagents to extract membrane proteins. This kit is ideal to obtain pure and functional membrane proteins with high medical relevance to discover new drugs such as small molecules, antibodies, or vaccines.
This kit provides 10 vials of 100 µl of Eurofins CALIXAR proprietary reagents solubilized in dH2O with the aim to realize an extraction of membrane proteins. It includes 5 proprietary detergents (NDG, ODG, DDG, UDG, DDDG) at a concentration of 100 mM from the same chemical family. These reagents have a wide range of hydrophobicity (Log P), di-glucose polar heads, and nonyl, octyl, undecyl, decyl or dodecyl chain that confer great adaptability of the kit to various membrane proteins of different natures.
