Involved in mitochondrial deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTP) pool homeostasis and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) maintenance. May be involved in the regulation of reactive oxygen species metabolism and the control of oxidative phosphorylation (By similarity).
