MemTrain EU-Cofund Award

May 15, 2019

The Programme, coordinated by Dr Alan Goddard from the Aston Membrane Protein and Lipid Research Group (AMPL), will enable the training of 12 Early Stage Researchers (ESRs; within 4 years of Master’s qualification) over 5 years, with the opportunity to complete a PhD in an area of research within the remit of AMPL, each of which is expected to have an intersectoral focus.

This is the opportunity for CALIXAR to strengthen its successful long-term collaboration with Aston University, especially with Dr. Alice Rothnie and Prof. Roslyn Bill’s laboratories.

The selected PhD students will have the chance to evolve at the interface between academia and industry and contribute to the development of membrane protein innovation.
